On November 11, 2009, the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame will welcome four new members:
• Ron Calcagno, legendary St. Francis High coach
• Sheryl Johnson, Olympian and three-time field hockey national champion
• Ronnie Lott, NFL Hall of Famer and South Bay philanthropist
• Bob Murphy, timeless voice of Stanford athletics
The Hall of Fame will also recognize the 2009 Male and Female Amateur and Hgh School Athletes of the Year, as well as the 2009 Special Olympian of the Year at the November 11 ceremony.

Held every November on the floor of HP Pavilion,
this gala event honors the inductees as well as those
to be honored as Male and Female High School Athletes
of the Year, Male and Female Amateur Athletes of
the Year and Special Olympian of the year. Proceeds
from the dinner benefit Special Olympics Northern
California.
