Open to high school seniors within Santa Clara County who:
- Carry a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Participate in a sanctioned high school athletic activity
- Demonstrate community involvement and the ability to overcome adversity
Each school may nominate up to five students. For consideration, nominees must complete a student information form and submit a one-to-three page background essay on:
- Life obstacles faced
- How sports have helped them achieve their goals
Essays will be judged on content.
