Brandi Chastain is one of USA Soccer’s most recognizable faces.

As a member of the US National team for over 12 years, she collected 192 caps with timely kick after kick. She was a member of the 1991 and 1999 Women’s World Cup Championship teams as well as the Olympic teams that brought home gold in 1996 and 2004 and silver in 2000. Her game-winning penalty kick in the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup is etched as an iconic American sports moment and is responsible for helping elevate the profile of women’s soccer.

Brandi Chastain is a board member of SJSA’s REACH Youth Scholarship Program and was inducted into the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
