We attract major sport events to the city and make planning an event easier for you by creating a single point of contact. Through our connections we can ensure every event receives the support and resources it requires.

From community leaders and influencers to grassroots involvement and integration. We work closely with events to ensure meaningful and purposeful local engagement is established to add to the social and cultural fabric of the community.

The Sports Authority also supports and operates community, youth and amateur sports programs, including the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame, and the REACH Youth Scholarship Program.

Community volunteers are the unsung heroes of the San Jose Sports Authority! Since 1991, thousands of people have volunteered their time to help welcome and host the some greatest sports events in the world to Silicon Valley.
