28 Years of Recognizing Excellence, Adversity, Courage and Hard Work

The REACH Youth Scholarship Program recognizes and celebrates local high school seniors who have overcome adversity to excel both academically and athletically.

Now in its 28th year, the REACH Youth Scholarship Program is co-chaired by former San Francisco 49er and Football Hall of Famer, Ronnie Lott, and Women’s World Cup soccer champion, Brandi Chastain. REACH is an acronym for “Recognizing Excellence, Adversity, Courage and Hard Work.”

In 2023, REACH awarded 10 individual scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $10,000 to the top applicants as well as a $500 scholarship to 30 finalists. To date, REACH has awarded nearly $400,000 in total scholarship funds to hundreds of high school seniors from Santa Clara County.

*The REACH Youth Scholarship Program relies entirely on corporate and individual donations for funding.*
