SAN JOSE, CALIF – (www.sjsa.org/hof) The San Jose Sports Hall of Fame (SJSHOF) (www.sjsa.org/hof) will mark its 27th celebration of sports excellence in the South Bay when it inducts four new members into the Hall on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at SAP Center at San Jose beginning at 5:30pm.  The inductees hail from the upper echelon of collegiate, professional and Olympic competition. The event will highlight the achievements of South Bay area sports legends at its 2022 Induction Ceremony and dinner.

The San Jose Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022 include Doug Crosbie (St. Francis High School and Dallas Cowboys Alum), Sam Piraro (San Jose State University), Sue Phillips (Basketball, Archbishop Mitty High School) and Mark Swain (Olympic Medalist, Judo, San Jose State).

“We are beyond thrilled for this opportunity to not only honor these incredible local sports legends, but to be able to broadcast the ceremony to enable all of their friends and families to watch via live stream.” Director of the San Jose Sports Authority, John Poch said. “We are excited to host over 600 guests at the SAP Center in San Jose and thousands online to see this special class of inductees and honorees receive the accolades they so richly deserve. It’s such a special evening with a live event with so much pride and emotion and we are thrilled to be back at the SAP Center and to stream live for all!”

Proceeds from the silent auction benefit the Special Olympics and our COVID high school sports relief fund.
