Keri Sanchez was one of the best two-sport female athletes in  high school history.  As a member of the Santa Teresa Saints, she won both hurdles and the triple jump at the CCS championship in 1998, hurdles and long jump in 1989, and all four events in 1990. Sanchez was the state’s top female prep soccer player in 1990 and 1991 and led Santa Teresa to the 1991 CCS championship. She was a leader on the  women’s soccer dynasty teams, winning four consecutive NCAA Championships from 1991-1994, including three undefeated seasons. Sanchez played professionally in  for the WUSA CyberRays and has gone on to coach at the collegiate level. She is a pioneer in women’s soccer in the  and one of the best prep athletes ever to come out of.

Keri Sanchez was inducted into the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
