SAN JOSE, Calif. – The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee announced that the West Coast Conference, in partnership with SAP Center at San Jose and the San Jose Sports Authority, will host the 2019 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds.  The games will be played March 22 and 24, 2019.

The West Coast Conference, SAP Center at San Jose, and San Jose Sports Authority first partnered on the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship to host first and second rounds games of the tournament in 2013.  As previously announced, the three organizations will partner again in 2021 to host the 2021 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds.

2019 will mark the seventh time that SAP Center at San Jose has hosted the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.  SAP Center also hosted the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament First and Second Rounds in 2010 and 2013.  Additionally, the NCAA Men’s Basketball West Regional was hosted in San Jose in 1997, 2002, 2007, and most recently in 2017.  SAP Center at San Jose also hosted the NCAA Women’s Final Four in 1999.
