The San Jose Sports Authority (“SJSA”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected in Game On, San Jose (the “App”).
Eligibility and Age Requirements
- The App is intended for users 13 years of age or older.
- Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Account Creation and Responsibility
- Certain features require account creation. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Keep login credentials confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Permitted Use
- The App is for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit App content
- Interfere with App security or functionality
- Use the App for unlawful or abusive purposes
Content Ownership
- All App content—including videos, games, graphics, text, logos, and software—is owned by or licensed to SJSA and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.No ownership rights are transferred to users.
Communications and Marketing
- By creating an account, you agree that SJSA may send:
- Service and account notifications
- App updates and feature announcements
- SJSA-related marketing communications
You may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Third-Party Platforms
- The App may rely on platform services provided by Apple or Google to function (e.g., hosting, distribution). SJSA does not control and is not responsible for third-party platform policies.
Disclaimers
- The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted access.
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, SJSA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from App use.
Termination
- SJSA may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the App.
Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
