SAN JOSE’S VISITORS CENTER AND SPORTS MERCH STORE

A Spot for All of San Jose

Opening in January 2026, the SJ26 Sports Merchandise & Visitors Center, "The Locker Room," is a vibrant hub in downtown San Jose, made possible by the Brandenburg Family Foundation. Located at 93 E. San Carlos Street, the center will enhance the visitor experience by offering centralized information, sports merchandise for local teams, community program spaces, a podcast studio, and amenities like charging stations and Wi-Fi. It will support local businesses, promote San Jose’s attractions, and provide hands-on training for SJSU Hospitality students. With volunteer opportunities and partnerships with local organizations, the center aims to celebrate San Jose’s culture, sports, and community while fostering tourism and engagement.

The Locker Room is open Monday - Friday from 10am - 5pm for the month of February and will open seven days a week beginning in March.

The Podcast Studio

Step into The Locker Room's Podcast Studio to create your dream podcast! Our studio features two studio microphones, a 4k video camera, and the ability to produce a professional-grade audio or video podcast. Our staff can handle production, allowing you to focus on creating your best content.

The Podcast Studio is open for appointment only during The Locker Room's open hours, there are no walk-ins. Podcast Studio appointments after hours are available, but must be coordinated with The Locker Room staff in advance.

Executive Boardroom

The Locker Room features a rentable executive boardroom for nonprofits to host meetings of any kind. Featuring a television display, two whiteboards, speedy Wi-Fi, and seating for ten, the Nonprofit Executive Boardroom offers a private space for our local organizations to continue to make San Jose the thriving community we all know and love.

Community Commons

Presented by Heritage Bank of Commerce, Community Commons is the Locker Room's programmable space for presentations, press conferences, speaker series, and board meetings for all of San Jose to come together.

The Locker Room will frequently host events in Community Commons.

Featuring seating for up to 30 conference style and 60 theater style, a Bluetooth PA system, and an 85" TV screen, Community Commons is an adaptable space available to reserve for your event.
