STAR-STUDDED U.S. GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SAN JOSE
SAN JOSE, CA – Such an honor for San Jose to have the opportunity to host the Xfinity USA Gymnastics Championships at the SAP Center at San Jose this past week. What an amazing four days of hosting the competitions, the National Congress and Trade Show. Truly a gold medal performance by the staff at the SAP Center at San Jose, the convention center team at Visit San Jose, City of San Jose and our incredible hotel partners with the San Jose Marriott, AC Marriott and the San Jose Hilton.
So proud to work alongside USAG CEO & President Li Li Leung and her amazing staff in Scott Cole, Grace Schumacher, Stefanie Korepin, Jill Geer and Jamie Leap for an unforgettable week of gymnastics.
What makes San Jose such a special destination for premier sporting events, the secret is out and it’s the SAP Center, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, and the people. With only a ten-minute drive from the San Jose Mineta International Airport, our guests are welcomed to downtown San Jose. Few cities can provide such a compact footprint with their arena and convention center conveniently located within walking distance of our hotels to our venues with plenty of entertainment options for our attendees. From restaurants and bars to retail shopping and sight-seeing, San Jose has it all. The staffs at the SAP Center and the conventions center’s Team San Jose & Visit San Jose were once again terrific co-hosts. The early analysis provided by Visit San Jose shows an estimated economic impact of the 2023 Xfinity USA Gymnastics Championships at $7.81 million to San Jose!
